New S-Frame range includes unique ‘photo album’ for easy sharing
The latest S-Frame range of digital photo frames from Sony brings
your precious memories to life like never before. A beautiful addition
to any interior, S-Frame offers the best-ever view of your favourite
moments… now with AVCHD video playback with stereo sound on
range-topping models.
You’re sure to find the perfect S-Frame, with a total of six new frames
in screen sizes from 17.6cm (7”) up to an extra-large 26cm (10.2”). From
great value gift ideas to feature-packed luxury frames, every S-Frame
offers a wide range of slideshow modes plus clock and calendar views to
flatter your photo collection.
All models feature a distinctive illuminated ‘Sony’ logo on the panel
bezel: the logo disappears automatically when the frame is positioned
vertically in portrait position. There’s also a smart orientation sensor
that 'flips' images for correct viewing whether the frame is in portrait
or landscape position. There’s also an energy-saving timer that cuts
power consumption when the frame isn’t being used, plus a remote for
handy playback control from wherever you’re sitting.
The XR100 flagship model boasts a generously-sized 26cm (10.2”) panel
for a big, beautiful view of your photos and videos with exquisite
detailing and colours. The XR100 adds TruBlack technology for even
richer, high-contrast images with practically no reflection. It’s also
distinguished by an extra-wide viewing angle (160° x 160° degrees) so
everyone can enjoy the show, anywhere in the room.
In a first from Sony, the S-Frame XR100 can display your camcorder,
camera, and DSLR AVCHD clips with clear, rich stereo sound. Enjoy your
video’s soundtrack or a choice of pre-installed background music tracks.
Alternatively, enhance the mood of videos and slideshows by transferring
your favourite music tracks to the frame’s internal memory.
S-Frame Album: share the memories
Don’t keep all those special moments to yourself. Share them around with
the new S-Frame D830L. A unique concept in photo sharing, S-Frame Album
doubles as a portable, battery operated photo album that’s ideal for
showing off your photos and Standard Definition videos with musical
accompaniment. Slideshows can be accompanied with a choice of pre-loaded
music tracks, or import your favourite MP3 tracks via USB or media card.
Supplied with a luxurious leather-effect cover which protects the DPF
when you’re on the go, S-Frame Album’s sculpted lines are beautifully
styled for comfortable handling and sharing. When it’s not being used as
an album, simply place the frame back on a table or mantelpiece.
S-Frame Combi: print and enjoy
The new DPP-F800 is a fully-featured photo frame that also lets you
create beautiful, lasting prints of your favourite moments – with no PC
needed. Discreetly concealed behind the adjustable-angle 20cm (8”)
panel, the integrated colour printer delivers sumptuous, glossy photos
in just over a minute. Simply view your photos, see one you like and
print instantly to share with friends.
Now even more personal: free engraving service
A new engraving service lets you create the perfect, personalised
gift for friends, family or loved ones. Available exclusively when you
buy online from Sony, the free service offers the choice of adding a
name or short message that’s engraved on the frame. You can see your
message previewed on screen during checkout, and there’s no extra time
required for delivery of your order.
The new S-Frame range of digital photo frames from Sony will be
available from October 2010..

Photo Quote: What I mean by objectivity is not the objectivity of a machine, but of a sensible human being with the mystery of personal selection at the heart of it. The second challenge has been to impose order onto the things seen and to supply the visual context and the intellectual framework - that to me is the art of photography. - Berenice Abbott American Photographer, 1898-1991
