swpp member Trevor YerburyTrevor and Faye Yerbury Accredited Speaker

As true educators with a wealth of experience behind them you could do no better than attend one of their workshops where you will learn how they light their portraits in the studio and on location or how they designed one of the most successful boudoir marketing promotions. Take a look at their new website devoted to the Fine Art Nude and see why they have a global reputation with international and national exhibitions. http://www.yerburygallery.com

Twice Kodak Wedding Photographers of the Year learn how they used PR and Marketing to create a buzz about their work and earned them commissions around the UK and abroad.

And finally Marketing, Branding and Promotions are the 3 most important aspects of any business

Trevor Yerbury comes from a long and historic family of professional photographers. Trevor's Great Grandfather established the company in 1864 and Trevor is the 4th generation to carry out the family tradition.

Trevor came back into wedding photography in the mid 90s and immediately created a unique style of bridal photography which not only earned him the title of "Kodak UK Wedding Photographer of the Year" in 1997 & 1999, but his influencial style helped change the course of wedding photography into the relaxed, informal style we have today. Trevor holds a total of 14 Kodak European Gold Awards and was a finalist in Berlin in 1994.

Faye joined Trevor full time in 1996 and has earned an enviable reputation for her work. On 3 occasions she has won the title of "Kodak UK Child Photographer of the Year". She also holds a Kodak Gold Award and, like Trevor, is a Master of the Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers.

Their work has been published in numerous books and magazines worldwide.

Trevor and Faye have lectured for Kodak, Fuji, Loxley Colour, SWPP, Hasselblad, Bowens and many other industry leaders here in the UK and abroad.

Yerbury Workshops are held at their Claremont Studio just outside of Edinburgh and around the UK and Europe. Please check out our site for 2012 dates.

If you are interested in hosting a Yerbury workshop at your studio then please email jilly@yerburystudio.com

Lighting for digital - Dave Montizambert looks at automation and naps
After spending a whole day lighting and shooting probably the last thing your poor aching mind and body wants to do is sit down to a computer and process the day’s RAW captures.

Photo Quote: Photographs are of course about their makers, and are to be read for what they disclose in that regard no less than for what they reveal of the world as their makers comprehend, invent, and describe it. - A. D. Coleman
