HARMAN technology Limited, the company behind the ILFORD brand of black and white photographic products, and HARMAN brand of inkjet papers

Will be exhibiting on stand C2 in Hall 9 at the Focus on Imaging Exhibition, at the NEC Birmingham from Sunday 3rd to Wednesday 6th March 2013.

The emphasis this year is about getting back to basics using traditional black and white film to create long lasting images printed on real black and white photographic paper. The stand will feature demonstrations and displays from professional photographers, and HARMAN staff will be there to help with enquiries.

Create .. .Invent... Inspire

Inspired by film, Professional photographer Keith Moss will be presenting model shoots throughout the show and talking about how he uses film to create unique black & white images. The ILFORD PHOTO STUDIO will process the films and print pictures on ILFORD MULTIGRADE RC paper at the show. There will be a limited opportunity between the model shoots for visitors to have their own portraits taken.

ILFORD Master Printer Dave Butcher will display prints from his new book City Light that will be available to buy for the first time at the ILFORD PHOTO stand. Dave is one of the UK's leading black and white landscape photographers and exclusively uses ILFORD PHOTO products taking all of his images on medium format ILFORD FP4, and then making hand prints in the darkroom on ILFORD MULTIGRADE FB paper.

The HARMANexpress Shop will be stocked with a range of ILFORD Brand films and paper, and HARMAN PHOTO inkjet products including HARMAN CRYSTALJET ELITE RC. Visitors will be able to benefit from many Show Special Offers

New at Focus 2013, and supported by images from Leon Taylor, will be the HARMAN TiTAN 8x10 Pinhole Camera designed and manufactured in the UK by Walker Cameras. This follows the extremely successful introduction of the 4x5 inch version at Focus 2012.

Also new for Focus 2013 will be the announcement of the OBSCURA Pinhole Camera by ILFORD. The new product, with some very clever features, has been designed for pinhole enthusiasts, hobbyists, and students alike, aimed at bringing fun into this increasingly popular genre.

Other new products being announced at the exhibition include
- MOD 54 a large format film processor for use with Paterson 3 reel film processing tanks allowing up to 6 sheets 4x5 film to be processed at the same time.
- ILFORD Black & White Single Use Cameras

Staff will be available to talk with Teachers about a NEW Pinhole Photography Education Kit aimed at primary schools.

The in-house process and print service from ILFORD LAB DIRECT will be promoting its online Silver Gelatin black and white printing service and offering photo dealers opportunities to gain additional sales. ILFORD LAB DIRECT is also on the lookout for professional photographers to sign up to the NEW ILFORD PRO GALLERY print sales service being launched in Spring 2013.

The HARMAN stand will also feature a display of winning images from the 2012 Beauty & The Beast Student Competition.
