Kenro releases Marumi's highest grade UV camera filter

Kenro, the official UK and Ireland distributors of Marumi Optical have announced the availability of the full range of Marumi EXUS UV Filters.

The Exus Series is Marumi's highest spec camera filter range with a host of advanced features.

Designed for Digital SLR camera lenses, the Japanese-made Exus range incorporates high grade technology featuring exceptional optical glass flatness and intensity. There's a special anti-static coating inhibiting adhesion of microscopic dust.

The UV filter blocks ultraviolet rays of a wave length of 390nm and under, reproducing a clear image of distant views replicating that seen by the human eye. The Exus UV is perfectly clear and serves well as a lens protector without affecting visible light whilst protecting the camera lens against dust and pollution.

The Exus range features a special 'anti foul' coating meaning that in rain or inclement conditions water will be repelled off the surface. The filter surface is also oil and finger grease resistant and extreme residue can easily be wiped off.

With a special black ink coating on the outer rim, the incidence of reflection is less than 0.3 percent. The filter mount is ultra-thin for wide-angle use and has light blocking ridges and a patented new glass securing system. The filters have a knurled satin finish.

Paul Kench, Managing Director of Kenro commented ''These new, high quality filters incorporate a host of brilliant features making them stand out on the market and will appeal to many outdoor photographers.''

Available in a range of sizes between 49mm to 82mm. Each filter is supplied in its own case.SRP is £58.32 to £138.00 inc VAT.
