A Day at the Asylum! - Rick
Friedman

Come join Boston based,
internationally published
photographer and creator of the
"Location Lighting Workshops",
Rick Friedman for a day of
location lighting and
photographing models at the old
Caroline Gardens Chapel, aka The
Asylum. This is an amazing place
to shoot and we have it all to
ourselves!This workshop
commences with ways to create
wonderful light by using a
single Speedlite and then
proceeds to using multiple
speedlights, mixing studio
strobes and speedlights along
with shooting with multiple
studio strobes. Participants
will also work on creating
images with a mixture of strobe
and ambient light.
The group will work with various
types of light modifiers, soft
boxes, strip lights, snoots,
reflectors, gobos and grids. The
participants will work with
different ways to trigger the
strobes and add and control
colours balances and create
colour backgrounds. Rick works
with both Nikon and Canon
systems.
Join us for a day lighting,
laughing and creativity.
