Another Fantastic Convention |
This years Societies' Annual Convention held in London has been described by many as the most positive, uplifting and educational experience, with a mix of photographers and artists from all across the globe, all gathered under one roof to enjoy the event. It had lively conversations and social experiences, linked together by the common International language of photography. We here at The Societies wish to say a massive thank you to everybody who attended, all the helpers, staff, speakers and exhibitors. Next year can't come soon enough! We have uploaded a selection of images from the event and you can browse them at:

Training Evening - Dennis Orchard - Ireland |
![]() One of the greatest benefits of belonging to The Societies is the continuing training and mentoring that is offered to all members. In this Training Evening Dennis will outline the improvements that positive mentoring can have in guiding photographers to improve their work and achieve a panel of images for qualification at Licentiate, Associate or higher. As part of the mentoring team, Dennis offers positive, practical advice on a regular basis to those entering The Societies' Mentor Me Programme. He will show how from first submission to final successful Qualification Panel, members are guided to refine their images to deliver exactly what the judges are looking for. Dennis is noted for his humour and this will not be a dry, boring seminar. He will show some of his own recent wedding work and the audience will be actively encouraged to openly criticise the work of “The Master” This Masterclass is a must see for anyone considering gaining a professional qualification in 2014.
