Ashton Wedding Cars :-
Ashton Wedding Cars was formed in 1998 by myself, Joe Laverty & best friend Martin Curtis. We started the business after identifying a gap in our local market (Inverclyde) for quality bridal cars which were just that little bit extra special. This came about after I was a guest at a friends wedding and thought that I could prepare and offer far better quality wedding cars than the ones I had just saw that day at a local church. After a conversation with Martin the next week, we decided to go into the wedding car business. Our first car bridal was a vintage Austin 12/4 Burnham saloon, 1931, in dark blue with dark blue interior, a real cracker. We bought this car in Birmingham, had it trailered to Scotland and bought two matching Westminster blue Jaguar XJ6 backup cars shortly after. Within six weeks we had all three cars painted and ready for work, in immaculate condition.
