The Winter Gardens Pavilion is a significant part of Weston-super-Mare's seafront. Opened in 1927, the site originally included extensive gardens, a tennis court and a putting green. Since the end of the Second World war, many changes have been made to the building and its surroundings, and much of the original gardens are now covered by the 1980s rear extension and the Sovereign Shopping Centre. The Winter Garden's eastern wall now forms the boundary of the town square. Other Title: Conference and banqueting venue

Wedding services provided: The Winter Gardens is able to host weddings ranging in size from 20 to 600 guests. We are able to provide advice on all aspects of wedding planning whether those services are provided in house or by external suppliers. We are also licensed for civil ceremonies.
Gardens or outside locations suitable for wedding photography: The Winter Gardens is located on the seafront and in the heart of town and enjoys sweeping views across the bay. There is a formal pond area adjacent to the venue suited to wedding photography, but no private gardens attached to the venue itself.
Suitable locations inside the venue for wedding photography: There are numerous indoor locations suited for photography. The best well known is the magnificent Ballroom on the seafront. Built in the 1920's the oval Ballroom with a sunken dance floor makes a stunning and elegant setting for any wedding or banquet.
Local picturesque areas suitable for wedding photography: There are a number of parks near to the venue suited to wedding photography. There is also the beach and the various piers with stunning views across the bay towards Whales and the North Devon coast.
Venue special features.: The Ballroom is one of the best well known venues in the region. It provides a unique and stunning setting for any wedding.
Venue History: Built in the 1920's the Winter Gardens has long been a local landmark and the Ballroom has been a preferred location for many top bands, society events and film set locations. The venue was extended in the 1990's to create a modern multi purpose conference and banqueting centre. In 2008 the Winter Gardens underwent a major refurbishment and provides modern and tasteful facilities for all events.
