Suitable locations inside the venue for wedding photography: All areas are available. The lower deck is sumptuously wood panelled and features original portholes over the water. The Aft is a completely glass section of the boat with floor to ceiling sliding doors that open out over the water. The Lounge is carpeted and furnished with leather sofas and a marble bar with views of Bristol bridge in the background.
Local picturesque areas suitable for wedding photography: Bristol's historic dockside, including Bristol Bridge, makes an interesting and picturesque background. There are also open green spaces at nearby Queens Square and Castle Park.
Venue special features: Beautifully situated in the true centre of Bristol, under the shadow of Bristol Bridge, on the floating harbour.
Venue History: Bristol's iconic floating restaurant celebrates it's 25th anniversary next year. Built from historical salvaged materials such as the marble surfaces from Bristol's Fishmarket, portholes from a cross channel ferry, flooring and windows from Georges Brewery, Burmese teak and black marble partitions from the Royal Hotel, Steel from the molasses tanks at Avonmouth.
