Wedding services provided: From the initial enquiry a dedicated event coordinator works with each couple to help plan their special day. We provide all table linen, chair covers and can advise/recommend florists, photographers and evening entertainment. We have in house caterers who look after all the food and a local wine supplier who can help with wine selection. We can provide a bar facility for the evening reception and an MC will be on hand on the day to look after everything.
Gardens or outside locations suitable for wedding photography: There are 14 acres of gardens which contain the wells from which the historic city takes its name. There are formal and informal areas of the garden and beautiful views of the Cathedral and the surrounding countryside.
Suitable locations inside the venue for wedding photography: The medieval house has several beautiful rooms which are suitable for photography, each decorated slightly differently. There is also the stunning stone stair case by the Chapel which makes an excellent platform for the guests to be photographed on.
Local picturesque areas suitable for wedding photography: Just over the Drawbridge you can have photo's taken by the moat that runs around the Palace which is home to the famous Palace swans.
