Venue special features: The Petwood retains many of the Edwardian building's original features such as extensive oak panelling, an open fire and large hand-carved staircase. The Squadron Bar is dedicated to the 617 'Dambuster' Squadron which was based at the Petwood during WWII.
Venue History: Built as an Edwardian country house for a Baroness, it later served as the Officers' Mess for the 617 Squadron - more commonly known as the Dambusters.
Other information: The Petwood is located close to the National Golf Centre and Woodhall Spa Golf Club which offers some of the finest inland golf courses in the UK. The team at the Petwood will happily arrange a round of golf for guests. Please contact Reception for information.
