Wedding services provided: The Guildhall is licensed for civil marriages and partnerships. We will guide you through preparations for the day and staff will be on hand to welcome your guests and take care of any music you would like played during your ceremony. Each ceremony is unique so please contact us if you would like to do anything a little different.

Suitable locations inside the venue for wedding photography: The Chamber is a beautiful room dating from the 1600s with wooden vaulted ceiling and hand stitched cushions. The Chamber has views over the bay and the Guildhall is only a short walk from several beaches and the historic Cobb harbour.

Local picturesque areas suitable for wedding photography: The Guildhall is situated next to the stunning Lyme Regis coastline, at the heart of the Jurassic Coast. Lyme Regis has four beaches, each different. The coast is beautiful in any weather and changes throughout the year, guaranteeing you unique wedding photographs.

Venue special features: The Guildhall is full of character and is an ideal venue if you are looking for something a little different to a Registry Office room.

Venue History: The Guidhall chamber dates from the 1600s and is sited at the heart of the original town. The former court room is currently used as the Town Council meeting room and for civic occasions.

Other information: Due to fire regulatiosn, we cannot host more than fifty guests in the Guildhall.

A small car park is available for use by the wedding party and can fit two - three cars.

A lift is available to take guests from the ground floor directly to the Chamber.
