A private victorian property, which is run in a style you very rarely experience these days - it is so incredibly personal and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble, the staff smile and the food is outstanding! Every event or occasion is individually crafted with amazing attention to detail nothing is forgoten and the answer is always "yes of course"...on top of all that the location is idillic being hidden away in its own private woodland!

There is an old English rhyme describing the practice which also mentions a sixpence in the brides shoe. Something old, signifying continuity, could be a piece of lace, jewelry, or a grandmother's handkerchief.
