Venue special features: Approached along the attractively wooded Tea Garden Lane, The Beacon Bar and Restaurant sits regally on an outcrop of Tunbridge Wells sandstone. The magnificent view to the South has barely changed since a Victorian guidebook observed it "as beautiful as an England affords".
Venue History: The house dates back from 1895 and was built as the country home of Sir Walter Harris, a former lieutenant of the City of London. It has a wealthy of architectural features including some particularly fine stained glass windows and an oak-panelled bar.
