Type business: Full Time Professional Photographer My photographic style: Relaxed, happy, easy on the eye My greatest strengths: Making people feel at ease, capturing the right moment, being able to carry the heaviest camera bag in the world I have been in photography: 10 years How I got started in photography: I enrolled on a college course in 2000 which led to my first job taking baby photos in shops (!) then I worked in a Venture studio before starting up on my own in 2007. My photographic skills: Good time management and magical photoshop skills My personality: Friendly, chatty, likes a laugh (I feel like I'm selling myself on a dating site here!) Geographic areas I cover: My main area is around a 40 mile radius of Dundee in Angus, Fife and Perthshire but often travel a bit further to Edinburgh, Aberdeen etc Venues I frequently attend: I have shot at loads of amazing historic buildings locally like Guthrie Castle, Huntingtower, Dalmunzie, Edzell Castle, Solsgirth House, College Halls in St Andrews, Fasque House and Lands of Loyal to name a few. There are some lovely hotels and golf resorts in my area too like Piperdam, Landmark Hotel, Forbes of Kingennie, The Fairmount, Old Course. There are so many good places with great views. I found inspiration from: Lively people, beautiful scenery and other great, successful British wedding photographers like Damian Lovegrove and Andrea Barret. Success in photography: I plan to submit work for my LSWPP when I get a spare minute! Photographic training: HND Photography and Digital Design, Venture Diploma, Adobe Advanced Photoshop, I continually go on short courses to improve my work and keep up to date. My interests outside photography: My son and family, wine and food Testimonials: I have some great testimonials on my facebook page. Why I like the SWPP: The training.
