Hi, I'm Seiji 👋, a photographer based in Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, available for photography services across the surrounding areas.
I've been working as a professional photographer for 15 years, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have built a career doing something I truly love.
In 2025, I was honoured to receive the Wedding Photographer of the Year 2025 award, the highest award of the year in the wedding category of the international photography competition hosted by The Society of Photographers, one of the world's largest professional photography associations based in the UK.
It was particularly meaningful to receive this recognition for photographs I had actually created for my clients. I am also consistently ranked among the top 10 photographers in the nationwide photographer nomination rankings.
I currently work as Chief Photographer at Studio Aqua Tachikawa. Previously, I worked as a manager at the Okinawa and Yokohama branches and was also involved in launching the Minato Mirai, Kamakura and Fuji branches.
Originally from Okayama Prefecture, I graduated from university in Osaka before studying wedding-related work and hospitality overseas.
I spent two years working as a wedding photographer in Hawaii and have since had the opportunity to photograph weddings and couples internationally in countries including the United States, Australia, France, New Zealand, Canada and Bali.
Outside of photography, I enjoy sports and manga, while spending time with my daughter is my greatest source of relaxation. I have also obtained a financial planner certification and am currently working on improving my financial knowledge.
I think of photographs as "the only ticket that can take you back to the past."
Ten years from now, twenty years from now, when you open your wedding album, I want your photographs to naturally bring back the memories of that day.

To me, photographs are a gift to your future selves and your family. That's why I believe an important part of my job is not only creating beautiful images, but also helping to make your wedding day a genuinely fun and memorable experience.
You don't need to worry about posing or knowing what to do in front of the camera. Leave everything to me and my team. All you need to do is relax, enjoy yourselves and have fun. Of course, if you have any ideas or poses you'd like to try, I'm always happy to incorporate them.
From natural smiles and slightly shy expressions to dramatic and stylish photographs, I love creating a wide variety of images that capture every side of your relationship.
I also specialise in creating dreamy and ethereal photographs using veils, as well as beautiful images at Showa Memorial Park, flower locations and by the sea. I am also experienced in photographing couples wearing traditional Japanese clothing.
One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing the transformation in a couple who initially tell me, "I'm nervous," only to say, "That was so much fun!" at the end of the shoot.
My goal is to make your special day a truly wonderful experience, filled with smiles, genuine emotions and unforgettable memories.
