Marie de Verdier Persson is a Swedish professional photographer renowned for her emotive portrait work, specialising in children, families and domesticated animals.
With over 15 years of experience, Marie has been a full-time photographer since 2009 and has operated her own studio since 2014. Her work is characterised by strong visual storytelling, technical excellence and a deep sensitivity for capturing personality and genuine emotion.
Marie holds the prestigious Qualified European Photographer (QEP) distinction, awarded in 2017 for a panel of expressive animal portraits, and she also completed a Master's Degree in Photography through the Swedish Handicraft Council. Her work has received recognition in both national and international competitions, including awards and high placements in Swedish Championships and international photographic contests.
Highly engaged in the professional photographic community, Marie serves on the board of the Swedish Portrait Photographers Association and represents Sweden on the board of the Federation of European Photographers (FEP).
