Hi, I'm Alex 👋, a photographer based in Liverpool, Merseyside, England, available for photography services across the surrounding areas.
I'm Alex, an experienced wedding photographer based in Liverpool, with a lifelong passion for capturing moments that truly matter.
Photography has been close to my heart since my school days. There's something timeless and powerful about freezing a fleeting moment in time preserving the emotion, atmosphere and beauty of something that will never happen in quite the same way again.
For the past nine years, I've had the privilege of documenting love stories across some of the most beautiful wedding venues in the North West, including The West Tower in Aughton, Liverpool Cricket Club, Mitton Hall in Lancashire and the magnificent Crewe Hall in Cheshire. Every couple, every setting and every celebration brings its own unique magic, and it's an honour to be part of it.
I approach every wedding with a calm, friendly presence and a touch of humour to help you feel relaxed and comfortable. My goal is simple: to let you enjoy your day to the fullest while I quietly capture both the grand moments and the intimate details that will become treasured memories.
My photography style is primarily documentary, allowing me to blend into the background and capture natural, candid moments as they unfold. However, I also understand the value of beautifully composed and timeless portraits.
Throughout your wedding day, I'll know when to step back and let the moments happen naturally, and when to gently guide you to create a more carefully composed photograph. This gives you the best of both worlds authentic documentary photography alongside beautiful portraits you'll treasure for years to come.
After your ceremony, I'll take you away for around 20 to 30 minutes for a more private photo shoot together. These are often some of the most romantic and meaningful images of the entire day, giving you a chance to step away from the celebrations and enjoy a little time together as newlyweds.
To make the most of this time, I like to visit your venue before the big day, ideally with you, to explore the location and discover those hidden corners, beautiful surroundings and perfect backdrops that can make your photographs truly special.
I provide a beautiful blend of colour and black and white images, often giving you both versions so you can choose your favourites. Your photographs are presented on a beautifully packaged USB stick, ready for you to print, share and enjoy for years to come.
Outside of weddings, I've been the official photographer for both Warrington and Liverpool Collegiate rugby union clubs for more than 11 years. I'm also passionate about travel photography there's nothing quite like capturing the character and soul of a place through a camera lens.
I live in Liverpool with my partner of more than 20 years, Chris although we really should be planning our own wedding soon, or so I'm regularly reminded!
Music is another passion of mine. My taste covers everything from soul to punk, although if I had to choose a favourite group, I'd be torn between Madness, Steely Dan and Genesis.
