Returning to wedding and portrait photography after several years off, currently rebuilding portfolio and experience. Also time student for art photography degree course. Type business: Semi Professional Photographer My photographic style: Sensitive to the environment I'm working in, a combination of classic and contemporary. My greatest strengths: Collaborative, personable, fun, quirky. Puts guests and subjects at ease. I have been in photography: 25 years+ How I got started in photography: Trained in wedding and commercial photography in my early 20's. My photographic skills: 25 years experience in a variety of wedding, commercial, landscape and contemporary art photography. Works very well with alternative cultures and minority groups. My personality: Personable, amiable, genuine, chatty, quirky, open. Geographic areas I cover: Derbyshire, East Midlands, Glastonbury Venues I frequently attend: Quirky, unusual, characterful, outdoors. I found inspiration from: Nature, alternatives lifestyles, good hearted people whatever their background. Success in photography: Megalithic Portal - Photography winner in 2014 Photographic training: Current undergraduate studies with OCA BA(Hons) Photography. Wedding photography training with Alan Thompson Photography, Nottingham in 1990's. My interests outside photography: British mythology; Megalithic Britain; Druidry, Bhuddism. Major events: Once asked to do the photography for a death / Buddhist celebration of life - perhaps one of the more unusual assignments! Future plans: Continue to develop my wedding practice, especially with minority and new age groups e.g. pagan handfastings and civil ceremonies. Also to do more commercial work and environmental portraiture which I enjoy.
