Sam Wild - Photo + Film is a documentary-style wedding and family photography brand based in Kingston, Ontario.I focus on capturing real moments as they naturally unfold without staging, scripting or interrupting what is actually happening. My work is built around honest storytelling, the small interactions, the quiet in-between beats and the moments people usually forget are happening.
I photograph weddings and families the same way I see everyday life: genuine, imperfect, emotional and full of personality. Instead of posing every detail, I follow the day as it happens. This gives my couples and families space to be themselves while I create images that feel true to them rather than a version created for the camera.
Alongside photography, I offer video coverage that matches the same documentary approach. I focus on movement, sound and atmosphere captured in a way that feels natural and lived-in.
My goal is simple. I want to tell the story of your wedding or your family exactly as it felt. No forced smiles, no awkward setups, no pressure to perform. Only real people, real connections and images that bring you back to the moment years from now.
