Hi, I'm Stephanie 👋, a photographer based in Newcastle, County Down, N.Ireland, available for photography services across the surrounding areas.
I am a full-time professional photographer with over 10 years of experience, specialising in creating fun, relaxed and natural images for families, couples and businesses across Northern and Southern Ireland.
My photography journey began after taking voluntary redundancy, which gave me the opportunity to complete a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Photography. What started as a new direction quickly became a passion, and I have loved every moment of building my career behind the camera.
I believe photography should be fun. My friendly personality and ability to work well under pressure help create a relaxed atmosphere, whether I am capturing the excitement of a wedding day, the personality of children or the creativity of a fashion shoot.
I particularly enjoy working with young children and creating natural images full of character, as well as the energy and creativity that comes from collaborating on fashion and beauty projects.
My work has been recognised through a number of photography awards, including Fashion Photographer of the Year in 2013 and Pictorial Photographer of the Year in 2014. I have also achieved third place in Commercial Photography and received a Certificate of Merit for Contemporary Wedding Photography.
I hold an HND in Photography and continue to develop my skills through one-to-one training with Glenn Norwood and regular sessions with the Professional Photographers Association of Northern Ireland (PPANI).
I am currently working towards my Associate qualification and continue to enter competitions as part of my ongoing development as a photographer.
Based in Northern Ireland, I cover locations throughout both Northern and Southern Ireland. I am fortunate to work near some incredible scenery, including the Mourne Mountains and the stunning surroundings of Slieve Donard, providing beautiful backdrops for bridal, portrait and fashion photography.
