![]() With less than 100 days to go, the Convention is looming large on the horizon. If you have not already booked in then it is time that you do! The 2011 Convention is a veritable feast of
education with eight days of action packed programmes designed to help you
the photographer put your imagery ahead of the game. The three day Trade
Show spanning the Friday to Sunday is a gathering of the whose-who in the
photographic industry with the ‘big guns’ present and eager to show you the
latest in technology and design.

The BIG ‘L’ Challenge
(Members only) Members are invited to submit their Licentiateship panel or if desired their Associateship or Fellowship for consideration. Delegates can attend and watch the qualifications assessments. It is preferred that you forward your submission on CD to The Societies’ office prior to the event along with your submission fee (Licentiateship £60, Associateship £95 and Fellowship £150 all inc VAT). Beckstead is on the Bus!! (Big Red Bus) Wednesday 12 January - 10:00-16:00 Rockin’ down the road on a Big-Red-Bus, shooting a fashion/bridal with the pounding sounds of Led Zeppelin and learning from Bodacious-Beckstead…sounds like too much fun to pass up! We will bus around London shooting Beckstead-style playing it loose and free! We are going big and wide so bring a wide-angle lens for sure!!! David creates his crazy-cool compositions with simple tools: 15mm fisheye, 24 1.4 and a 70-200 2.8 and 2-camera bodies. No flash, stands, tripods, reflectors or anything to slow us down! Come prepared to learn from David first and get great imagery as a secondary benefit. David runs a very fun yet organized shoot so be prepared to move around in a bigger group. David has lead shooting workshops all over the globe! |
