![]() Digital portrait photography offers a number of advantages - both creatively and financially. Yet, because the learning curve is so steep, making the transition to digital can be frustrating. Jeff Smith, a studio owner and successful digital portrait photographer, walks you through the process from a professional perspective. Based on his own experiences, Smith helps you avoid common problems. Next, he provides techniques for creating dazzling digital portraits - from shooting digitally to editing the images, retouching and adding special effects. You'll see how to get the best results from your lab and how to educate your clients about this exciting new technology. £15.00 inc. free P&P to the UK |
![]() While studio lighting offers complete control, many photographers are reluctant to dive into it because of the perceived startup costs or confusion over what equipment they really need. In this book, acclaimed photographer Kirk Tuck charts a simple course to success - and shows you how recent technological advances have made it easier and more affordable than ever to set up a very functional studio for portraiture, commercial photography, still lifes, and more. Tuck covers every aspect of the process, providing simple solutions for designing a functional space, determining what equipment you need (and what you can make yourself), and getting started with some sure-fire lighting setups. £15.00 inc. free P&P to the UK |

These inspirational women are committed to raising awareness of men's health issues and much needed funds for men's health along the way. About Movember During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of mens faces in the UK and around the world. The aim of which is to raise vital funds and awareness for mens health, specifically prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
