Inspired by Chris Bonington's photographs of his Everest he took, I bought his first camera in 1976. Living in Birmingham at the time meant regular trips to Patrick Lichfield's (Lord Lichfield) estate to look at his photographic work. Lichfield was radical, creating intoxicating and bold portraits. His wedding photography was powerful yet he had an almost casual way of recording peoples life events, like Mick & Bianca Jagger in their limousine after their wedding in St Tropez.

I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Oxford University and I am a qualified member of the Master Photographers Association.

I have an uncompromising desire for expression, and have pursued photographic excellence from the outset of my professional career. I know that every composition has its own energy and emotion and I strive to capture that power in beautiful and inspiring portrait and wedding photography.
