My photographic style: Candid, natural,

My greatest strengths: determination and patience

I have been in photography: on and off all my life, but in a serious capacity 4-5 years

How I got started in photography: My grandad had a love of photography which my mom used to talk about when I was small, my dad had a love of photographing architecture and airplanes, and my first love was a portrait photograph enthusiast, who also had tabled in the world of medical photography.

My photographic skills: Highly motivated.

Excellent multi tasking and forward planning skills. Good interpersonal, coaching and networking skills. Good public presentational skills. Comfortable working as a team player or on own initiative. Can do/will do attitude.

My personality: I have a lively sense of humour.

I'm able to listen to others, I'm open to ideas, yet sensitive to the needs of those around me.

Geographic areas I cover: Northamptonshire

Venues I frequently attend: The Great Outdoors

I found inspiration from: My inspiration comes from seeing what I can achieve and having the opportunity to push myself. By looking at all the photo's that are available on the internet and knowing that I can also create images that look good on paper as well as on a small computer screen.

Success in photography: Almost completed a Diploma in Photography through the Blackford Centre (distance learning), and have already booked the Advanced Diploma modules too.

My interests outside photography: History, Gardening, Travel, Cooking, Dogs, Music, Rugby, Family History Research

Major events: Married in 2012 to my very patient & supportive husband.

Diagnosed with oral cancer in 2014, operated on to remove the tumour from jawbone, now approaching the 2 year all clear mark.

Why I like the SWPP: The ability to meet other photographers and get a greater understanding of what's happening in the photographic world.

Tagline: To be the best I can and to create images that people will want to see time and time again.

Future plans: To improve my photography capabilities to allow me to transfer over from being a full time employee to being a full time photographer running my own business.
