With over 25 years of experience running a variety of both photographic and retouching studios Dave has amassed a knowledge that is second to non within the UK photographic industry across a wide and varied set of disciplines. As well as being a multi-award winning and internationally published photographer, Dave is also a highly regarded and sort after seminar speaker and trainer. Offering a variety of unique, humorous and informative seminars it is no wonder his services are in such high demand by industry leaders in both the UK and abroad. As if this weren’t enough Dave is also a photo-journalist for the photographic press, exploring and testing new technologies ensuring he is constantly ahead of the competition. Capturing the essence of your products and project is what we can achieve together. Full Time Professional Photographer My photographic style: Highly stylized with a meticulous attention to detail! My greatest strengths: Understanding clients needs (even if they don't) and being able to convert these into stunning images. I have been in photography: 25+ years .... Although I don't look it ;-) How I got started in photography: Started off on a photography training course for the City & Guilds .... and after 3 months became the tutor. The rest as they say is history. My photographic skills: An in depth array of technical skills. Studio Lighting, image manipulation, camera craft, post production. No matter what the subject ... at some point in time I will have undoubtedly photographed it!! My personality: ........ easy going ....... I don't do serious. However when I am working if I say "jump", you say "how high" ! Geographic areas I cover: Worldwide. Venues I frequently attend: A photographer should never have a favorite venue ... it only makes them lazy. Seeing a place for the first time should inspire inspiration. I found inspiration from: Anything and evrything ... the world is a wonderful place. Success in photography: I have been fairly successful over the years in competitions (I hold the title of the greatest number of Fuji Distinction Awards in its history for example). Although I do not enter any these days as I feel that my business is far more important than my ego. Photographic training: I am self taught with 25 years of industry knowledge as I feel this is far more valid than a piece of paper. My interests outside photography: My motorbike .... otherwise photography IS my life and has been for as long as I can remember!! Major events: .... does getting married count?
