Children’s mini-model makeover parties at the home with stylist also available. Also available for other photographic services, these include Commercial photography. Type business: Semi Professional My photographic style: Natural, relaxed and fun yet always done in a professional manner. No cheesy painted on grins on every picture! My greatest strengths: Ability to get on well with everyone. Keeping calm and focused in demanding situations. I have been in photography: Self-employed for last four years. Three years at college prior to that where I attained my H.N.D. in Professional Photography & Imaging. How I got started in photography: I’ve always had an interest in photography. Working in a completely unrelated industry made me realise I didn’t want to spend my life doing something I didn’t have any real passion for. My photographic skills: Good eye for a picture. Relaxed. Focussed. Pride in my work. My personality: Easy-going, friendly. Interested in other people as well. Geographic areas I cover: Strathclyde and surrounding areas. Will happily travel out-with if required. Venues I frequently attend: Auchendrennan House in Loch Lomond, Burnhouse Manor in Ayrshire and the Menzies hotel and Eastwood House in Glasgow are really nice with staff that always put the Bride & Groom and guests at ease. Duck Bay Hotel is also very good. I found inspiration from: Anyone who is good at what they do and who has managed to make a success of themselves in business. Especially photography which is considerably harder to do than your average Joe likes to think. Success in photography: Higher National Diploma in Professional Photography & Imaging. Licentiate status in Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers. Keep meaning to get round to entering more competitions but never quite find the time. Photographic training: H.N.D. attained at Reid Kerr college, Paisley. My interests outside photography: Football, mainly watching but very occasionally playing). Travelling to and discovering new places. Major events: Marriage. Birth of son in February 2007. Testimonials: Thirteen as of 20th November listed on my Testimonials Page on my web-site. I only started doing Customer Testimonials at the end of 2007. Why I like the SWPP BPPA: The forum is excellent for advice and picking up interesting info.
