Stephen has long been captivated by how others perceive and portray the world.

Encouraged by a colleague who recognized his enthusiasm, Stephen took a Beginner’s Course in Photography at the Malta Photographic Society, sparking a deep passion for photography. Through his lens, he unveils his inner world, finding expression in the interplay of light, space, and emotion. Drawing inspiration from his surroundings, Stephen has achieved notable success, winning both local and international competitions. His accomplishments have earned him the EFIAP from the International Federation of Photographic Art and an FMPS fellowship from the Malta Photographic Society, honouring his talent and contributions to the field. Between 2021 and 2023, as President of the Malta Photographic Society, Stephen focused on organizing numerous courses to promote the art and science of photography to aspiring photographers. Stephen’s diverse body of work spans architecture, street photography, landscapes, and still life. Stephen participated in various local photographic exhibitions and is the owner and co-founder of the artistic project titled ‘The People of Malta’. He showcases his unique perspective, explaining, “Photography is an art of observation. I find beauty in ordinary moments and strive to capture something meaningful in them, hoping to share what I see.
