My photographic journey began in the 1980s, when I worked as a wedding and portrait photographer, alongside a deep personal passion for landscape photography. Those early years, spent capturing love stories and the changing light of the natural world on film, shaped my lifelong love of storytelling through the lens.
After a break from professional photography due to illness, Ive returned with renewed energy and vision - bringing both experience and a fresh perspective to my work. Today, I run LucyD Photography, offering natural light portrait sessions, outdoor lifestyle shoots, and event coverage, including festivals and community gatherings.
My approach is relaxed, authentic, and intuitive. I gravitate toward wild or natural spaces and candid moments - always looking for that honest spark between people and place. Alongside photography, Ive worked extensively in graphic design and have a background in interior design, which helps me support clients in creating imagery that feels intentional, well-composed, and true to their identity.
Becoming a member of the Society of Photographers reflects my commitment to both professional growth and creative community. Im passionate about learning, sharing, and being part of a network that celebrates photographic excellence and innovation
