My journey into fine art landscape photography is rooted in a deep love for the outdoors and a passion for exploring the natural world. As an avid bushwalker and traveller, I find inspiration in coastlines, waterfalls and remote landscapes, using photography as a way to connect with and experience these environments on a deeper level.
For me, photography is more than simply capturing an image; it is a meditative process that allows me to slow down, immerse myself in a location and discover the subtle details that might otherwise go unnoticed. I often return to the same places repeatedly, patiently waiting for those rare moments when light, weather and landscape come together to create something truly special.
Throughout my career, I have worked across many genres of photography, including weddings, portraiture, commercial and industrial photography. With a tertiary education in photography and four decades of experience behind the camera, I continue to enjoy the creative process and the endless opportunities photography provides.
My aim is to create fine art landscape images that capture not only the appearance of a place, but also its atmosphere, emotion and the unique feeling of being there.
