Type business: Semi Professional Photographer
My photographic style: Clean, shape images, using some HDR sometimes muted images, it really depends on the subject
My greatest strengths: I am enthusiastic and keen to get the right images from a shoot whether is it for me or my client.
I have been in photography: Seriously about 7 years +. Always been interested but only since digital have I been able to explore fully.
How I got started in photography: I bought a camera and read a lot of books, admired the work of Bob Carlos Clarke, Ansel Adams at first.
My photographic skills: I am good at liaison. My adage is that I can create great images before I even set up and pick up my camera.
My personality: Fairly easy going although I am not good at suffering fools gladly! I am warm and polite and like to get to know a person or subject beforehand.
Geographic areas I cover: South East England and London
Venues I frequently attend: I like open air venues with lots of people and lots going on, I like to look around for the unusual as well as the norm.
I found inspiration from: There are several photographers who inspire me, not well known but their work is high quality. I like creating art images and using classical references for ideas.
Success in photography: None Whatsoever!
Photographic training: Mostly evening class and self taught, although there are times when I wish I that listened to myself after a shoot..!
My interests outside photography: I enjoy wargaming and walking, travel and art.
Major events: I have had four careers, Military, Construction, Teaching and Self Employment I currently work part time to supplement my photography.
