My photographic style: I try to create natural images of children and families using natural light and natural locations. I enjoy using rich vibrant colours.

My greatest strengths: Creative, fun, friendly, good with children.

I have been in photography: 6 years

How I got started in photography: I started with a drama degree and a career in theatre, however after having children I needed to be creative and continue my love of creating images and storytelling. Photography was a perfect fit!

My personality: Fun, friendly, funny, bubbly, patient.

My interests outside photography: I also perform as the lead singer in a function/party band, BIAS. We play a variety of classic rock in venues around the Southwest.

Why I like the SWPP: Working self-employed as a photographer can often feel lonely and unsupportive. There are no colleagues to see each morning, no chats at lunch time, no one to discuss work issues with. The SWPP makes you feel less like you are out on your own and more like you are a part of an organization, with people who are there behind you with support and help. It has helped my grow as a photographer and as a business owner.
