Robb Williams is one half of the award winning Iconik Photography. Based in Cornwall, Robb and his wife Natalie have years of experience photographing weddings throughout the Westcountry and beyond. Type business: Full Time Professional Photographer My photographic style: Bespoke photography - a mix of formal and reportage My greatest strengths: The ability to spot a moment and having the technical ability to know how to capture it. I have been in photography: I've been taking photographs for most of my life but my first professional assignments were approximately 30 years ago How I got started in photography: I bought my first camera when I was 9, moved onto SLR's when I was 15 then sudied photography as part of my Arts degree. My first commisions were for Theatre and Music photography and I moved into Wedding photography in 2007 My photographic skills: Wedding Photography, Portrait photography, digital photo editing and videography. Non photography skills include Illustration, portrait art, multimedia design and music composition. My personality: I'm a dreamer and I love to use technology in a creative way. I've worked as an illustrator, I've toured with rock bands as both a musician and photographer and composed music for theatre and television. Geographic areas I cover: Primarily Devon and Cornwall but basically anywhere in the world where people want to use my services :) Venues I frequently attend: Beautiful beaches and grand buildings. I found inspiration from: Great portrait artists like John Singer Sargent, great photographers like Kertesz, Doisneau, Avedon, Leibovitz etc, but most of all seeing our customers being delighted with the images we create for them. Major events: Marrying my wife Natalie, the births of my two children Jamie and Laren, Co-founding the Award winning Maverick Theatre Company and being a photographer on a tour around Spain with Motorhead!
