Specialist Photographer for :-

I alternate between painting and photography, seeking in photography to cull out decisive moments of reality, and looking to painting to express painterly aspects of emotion and energy, imaginative use of colour, abstraction, attention to the relief of paint itself, and direction of brushstroke. The former incites my external curiosity and expects external activity whereas the latter drives me to explore my internal meanderings.

My past experience includes working for NBC as the Network News Graphic Artist and Photographer, feature film still photographer on several major films, art show curator and NYC photography gallery founder of Fotoforum.

I currently am on exhibit in a solo show at the Ballina Arts Centre, “By Hand,” expanded from last year’s at the Museum of Country Life’s Courtyard Gallery some of which is online at https://mycreativeedge.eu/profile/by-hand. I am building a website (a work-in-progress) of my archive of photographs of Ireland taken over the past 30 years, and also including my resume and list of awards, including Grand Prize in the Nikon Photo Contest International and several Best of Shows in major Museum shows and weekend art shows. www.laurajeanzito.weebly.com.

I am available for stock photography and wall art of Ireland, USA, Middle East, Countries, Cities, Lifestyle, People, Celebrities, Trees and Nature, among other subjects. I am also available for travel and destination photography, advertising, reportage, functions, events, fashion, wedding shoots, birthday shoots, portraits, real estate, website, product, food, artworks, pet portraits and editorial photography. I do commissioned paintings, either from life or from photographs.
