Type business: Semi Professional Photographer My photographic style: Relaxed and informal How I got started in photography: I've been photography enthusiast for as long as I can remember; but a few years ago I opted to become professional by studying with the Open College of Arts to 'qualify' my knowledge and build my client base. My personality: I approach projects with the ethos that photography is more than just pointing and shooting; It is an art and I strives to make my art the best it can be. It's about understanding light, composition, colour, design and style; It's about applying these elements to levitate an everyday 'snap' to something special; ultimately it's about creating something emotive and personal for the client whatever that may be. Geographic areas I cover: Kent, London and South East England I found inspiration from: Regular visit photography exhibitions at 'Tate' and 'National Portrait Gallery' to take inspiration from history; that said I also take inspiration from my peers - a fundamental reason for being part of an association for professional photographers Photographic training: Open College of Arts: The Art of Photography My interests outside photography: Building traditional hand finished picture frames for artwork and photography. Major events: My second daughter Scarlett was stillborn In December 2009; and while there are many layers to bereavement, my Love for photography was one of the positive outlets that helped me through the healing process. As such photography will always be part of my life. Testimonials: I have had both a kids only outdoor photo shoot taken by Graham and an indoor one with my son and I, and I can strongly recommend him for both. He is extremely patient and listens to what you want, producing amazing photographs of scenes I didn't even see myself. Graham is very professional and doesn't try to act like the goofy clown (as some other photographers I have been to do), the photographs as a result are photographs to cherish where the kids look relaxed and happy. I also requested some editing to colours be carried out, Graham did this for me and produced several examples in very quick time indeed.
