Martin Cann has an Exhibition here. Semi Professional Photographer I have been in photography: I first started taking wedding photographs and portraits in 1986 continuing until 1998 where after a gap of four years I restarted my photography until the present day. Geographic areas I cover: Mostly my clients are living within an 8 mile radius of my home in Cleator Moor, Whitehaven, Egremont, Frizington. Although I have travelled further to cover a clients wedding. I found inspiration from: When I present my work to my clients and see their face light up when they see their photographs, that is my inspiration. Photographic training: I obtained a GCSE in photography in 1992 through a local collage attending evening classes, and attended various other photography courses ran by the local council. My interests outside photography: I love to travel the country, getting away from the crowds watching the wildlife and being out in the fresh air. Major events: Our two children have been photographed hundreds of times, but my proudest moment up to now was taking our oldest daughters portrait in her gown after leaving university. I will be repeating that moment in a couple of years when our youngest daughter leaves. Why I like the SWPP: I like educating myself all the time in my photography and the SWPP offers me valuable information. Future plans: I would like to continue with my photography for as long as I can.
