Tim Palmer photographer in Wiltshire My greatest strengths: A passion for art and photography, a sense of humour and a determination to create fantastic images that will be enjoyed by my clients and their families for generations I have been in photography: 18 years How I got started in photography: A local studio in Swindon advertised for a wedding photographer My girlfriend saw the advert and suggested I apply I said I wouldn't want be a wedding photographer but she persuaded me to go for it I got the job as I was the only one who applied! Loving it ever since My photographic skills: I am able to get on with people and work quickly under pressure I enjoy what I do and love creating images and album designs My personality: Reliable, happy and willing to help people Geographic areas I cover: UK Venues I frequently attend: Stately homes, Hotels and nice churches I found inspiration from: Other wedding photographers such as Yervant, Jim Garner, Jerry Ghionis, David Jay, Doug Gordon and Alan Starkey Artists like John Singer Sargeant, Titian, Van Dyke and Rubens Success in photography: I won a merit award from the Guild of Wedding Photographers and have achieved several Silver scores in the SWPP monthly print competition Photographic training: Studio training Attended many seminars over the years and have seen all of the great wedding and portrait photographers Will be going to Venice in October to train with Yervant My interests outside photography: Art and horse riding Testimonials: 'Thank you for taking such beautiful photos of our special day'-Lesley Hunt 'WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
