So just who am I and how did I get to be doing all this?

As far back as I can remember I've been a keen photographer - of people, places, pets - any subject really.

Up to a few years ago I worked as a photographer for companies, mostly photographing their products and designing the catalogue pages for the catalogue companies that sold them. Now I'm freelance, still photographing other companies products and designing their leaflets, brochures and so on.

Lately though, people have asked me to photograph them, their kids, their pets, their hobbies, their weddings and - even more surprisingly - to sort out, repair and re-colour their own photographs as well.

I must admit I really enjoy informal or off-the-cuff photography (reportage style) and especially up-close portraiture.

So whilst I don't claim to be a 'David Bailey' - yet - between us I'm absolutely certain we can create some amazing photographs that we'd all love and be proud of. And one thing I do guarantee - it will be great fun for everyone. That, for me, is the most important aspect of photography. To enjoy the doing of it and ensuring those taking part enjoy being the stars of the show. And, of course, that we're all proud to show off those fabulous final photos.
