Sophie Stanes has an Exhibition here. I started photographing weddings because I was asked to. I continue because I continue to be asked, and because I enjoy it. I believe I have the technical know-how to take fabulous formal shots – if that’s what’s required. I know how to put people at ease – and I think that the photographer’s personality has a lot to do with achieving good results. I know how to pose clients and help them to look their best. But what I also bring to the equation is a tailored and very personalised service. No two weddings I do are the same. No two couples are the same - so why should the photographic approach used be the same? I take time getting to know the couple, finding out what they want and helping to deliver their vision. As well as classic wedding photography I also specialise in documentary or reportage style photography which requires capturing real moments as they happen; helping you remember all the spontaneous things that happen in the blink of an eye on that very special day.
