Lesley Wood has an Exhibition here. My photographic style; Relaxed, natural, fresh, unobtrusive, informal and fun! My greatest strengths; I'm very good at relating to my clients and dealing with them in such a way that they feel fully at ease being photographed by me - either on a portrait shoot or on their wedding day. I started when I was a young child, and I have extensive experience as an amateur photographer. I became professional in 2006. How I got started in photography; I was given a camera by my father who encouraged me to photograph anything that moved! My photographic skills; I am very technically adept, very comfortable with my Canon camera and I can use it almost instinctively to capture the images I want to get. I'm particularly good at using the natural light and the environment to get stunning pictures. My personality; Friendly, gentle, patient (I'm extremely good with children!) but at the same time, I am very enthusiastic and passionate about what I do. Geographic areas I cover; I am willing to work anywhere in the UK and internationally too - for the right opportunity! Venues I frequently attend include; Tatton Park, Marbury Country Park, Walton Hall, Nunsmere Hall, Freshfields National Trust Nature Reserve. I found inspiration from; David Attenborough. Spring. Autumn. Children. Happy clients! Success in photography; Winner of international wildlife photography competitions. Chester Zoo Photographer of the Year. Global contract for distribution of dog portraits with Rosenstiel's, London. Keynote speaker at PTO Conference in Taba, Egypt in January 2009. Photographic training: Extensive technical training courses (Canon and Photoshop specific) with Experience Seminars, Huntingdon. Annabel Williams CPT programme (12 months), Staveley.
