Hahnemuehle and private investors take over M-real Zanders’ premium paper business based in Dueren, Germany

Walzmuehle AG of Dueren, Germany will buy the Dueren-based premium paper business of M-real-Zanders-GmbH.

Walzmuehle AG of Dueren, Germany will buy the Dueren-based premium paper business of M-real-Zanders-GmbH. In the future, the division will operate under the name Reflex Premium Papier GmbH. With the sale, the previous Zanders business has found a midsized owner, of which 50 per cent belongs to Hahnemuehle FineArt GmbH of Dassel, Germany, with the remaining shares in the hands of Hahnemuehle management and other private investors.

The new owners acquire the production facilities and trademark rights for Zanders-Premium Papers. Approximately 100 employees in Dueren will be taken over. Legal transfer will take place at the latest on 15 February 2012.
