2010 Convention The Countdown Has Begun We are now starting the countdown to the 2010 Convention. Already HQ are preparing for what is to be the biggest Convention, The Society have held so far. The truly international line up of speakers this year is incredible, with over 90 lectures from around the world giving over 350 hours of masterclasses. Focus-on Convention Speaker - Jorgen Brandt It is always a pleasure to report on the successes of our members, especially those from overseas. Jorgen Brandt from Denmark, who has been invited back to speak at the 2010 Convention, was recently awarded his country's highest qualification, supreme qualified master photo-dk (shortened to sqm photodk). "The sqm photo-dk is bestowed upon photographers in recognition of their outstanding and original creative and technical work within a chosen genre. The work is expected to be individual and be expressive of a genuinely personal style with a touch of originality in the approach to the genre chosen."
