Statement of Purpose
Professional Imagemaker is the publication of The Societies. The membership is open to full-time professional and semi-professional photographers. A full time staff runs the organization from offices in Rhyl, North Wales

In order to reflect the growth in membership and the way the professional photographer operates, the broad editorial aims for the new Professional Imagemaker are as follows:

To enhance the prestige of The Societies to educate and inform its members in the matter of photographic technology, techniques, business matters and creativity. Digital technology is a key element in today's professional photography and the content is biased towards the use of that technology in professional practice.

To keep membership abreast of developments in this rapidly changing area of activity.

To provide a focused assessment of photographic and allied products which are of specific interest to those who earn money from their photography.

To showcase the work of members in order to encourage and inspire the readership.
