Photovalue & 3XM Bespoke solutions for social photographers - part 2 of 1 2

Published 01/02/2017

“We’ll be expanding on what really worked well for us in 2016 – which were our 3XM Live events. We did a lot of those last year in 20 different locations across the country. This year we’re going to be having four bigger events instead, including two in London on the 25th and 26th April 2017.” Head to the website www.3xmsolution.com/live for more, including details of how to reserve tickets.

The pitch is simple. If you’re a photographer who wants to increase bookings for your studio, and is seeking real-world knowledge that can be implemented quickly for real benefit, then attending one of the 3XM Live events is a no brainer.

“At these events we really deliver a lot of good-quality training, on subjects including ‘Facebook for photographers’ , which looks at how to use Facebook to generate enquiries and bookings for your photography business. Everyone who has ever come along always leaves giving us lots of praise – and we get feedback saying that they have managed to implement what they’ve learnt. It really does make a big difference to their business.

“At the events, we also display our 3XM products so photographers can see, touch and feel them. Afterwards, people are more likely to consider us or buy from us.”

It works both ways too. After such events, feedback from photographer attendees can find its way back to future product development.

“We’re constantly looking to innovate, and use those face-to-face forums to ask photographers what they’d like from us,” confirms Marketing Manager Jenny. “The 14x11 box came out of that. Currently our 14x11 box can hold 20 mounted prints and we’ve figured out from these forums that some people may instead like to fit 10 or 30 prints in a box, so we’ve designed solutions for those people too. We’ve seen growth in the 3XM business as photographers have adopted digital into their business plan, and on the Photovalue side we’ve made more inroads into the wedding and portrait market. Over the last two or three years we’ve moved from schools photography into the more ‘social’ side of the photographymarket.”

At the time of writing, sample packs of mounts were due to have been shown and supplied at The Societies' Convention in mid January. Any interested parties who missed out, or who couldn’t attend the show, are, however, strongly advised to get in touch via the contacts below.
