In terms of speakers he's hoping to see himself while at the Convention, David is quick to nominate Damian McGillcuddy. "I always make a beeline to see what he's doing," he says. "I think he's a genius, making it simple for everyone to understand. Also the Yerbury's can do nothing wrong in my book.

"I'm also hoping that there will be a good selection of speakers from the US as usual, because they so often appear to be a step ahead of the rest of us. In the past three years I've been to WPPI in Las Vegas twice and that seems to be a great place to spot new trends. I jumped on the boudoir bandwagon after going there and that was a great move; currently this creates the majority of the income stream in my studio."
