Unlike some of the other offering this issue this one was generated on a PC. However it is a little USA biased. The otherwise excellent sections on outputting to specific devices are US based (specifying particular laboratories). It is project based (CD provided) and contains a lot of material that is not to be found elsewhere. With 340 proof pages, there are a total of 50 projects (hence the title) including making water colour effects, web galleries, using Buzz, using pen tablets and a variety of plug-ins. The book is in colour, although the print quality is not very inspiring. This is not, in all truth, one of the reviewer's favourites but if it contains a technique that you need then you will immediately recover your outlay of £25.95.
