Children By David Wilson

A book very much about the personality of the sitter rather than the boring techie stuff! David Wilson comes up with lots of ideas for informal posing and approaches. A traditional backdrop is only visible in a handful of shots, the rest is contemporary in approach and the book is divided into stylistic approaches rather than technical boundaries. The relaxed methods are no foil for slackness though, and the quality is maintained at a high standard throughout. There should be something for even the most seasoned portrait photographer here.
