Seybold are a well-known training provider and publisher on matters of graphics and production and so this offering was viewed with some anticipation. The book is targeted at "Beginner to Intermediate" and is extremely comprehensive within that brief. It comes complete with two CD's, one of which is demonstration software, the other contains all the tutorial files. The layout is a little Mac-centric but Windows is still covered in detail; the repro quality and the images are not very inspiring but if you work your way through all the tutorials you will be well on the way to becoming a power user.
