On the day of the wedding the humidity dropped and we had a perfect blue-sky day with a comfortable temperature of 28°C. The wedding was on the roof terrace of The Palace, overlooking Burj Khalifa, tallest building in the world. The photography was unhurried and with two of us covering the day, nothing was overlooked. Considering their original brief I was pleasantly surprised at how many set piece location shots we did of just the two of them. The photography continued long after sunset and the Burj Khalifa featured prominently as a backdrop in many photos.
After the wedding we had one day to unwind before returning to Britain and we took time to enjoy the sites and hospitality of Dubai and sample some delicious Arab cuisine.
On returning home I edited and posted the pictures online.
The following day I received a Facebook message from Nick. It read:
Wedding photos are coming on line, thank you so much to Dennis Orchard and Simone Germaine Best for coming out to Dubai to cover the wedding. From the moment they stepped off the plane they were a part of our family and added so much to our day. Hannah and I love the pictures and are so happy you were here to celebrate with us.
Hats of to you Dennis, thank you.
I now have a sample album of Nick and Hannah's wedding. I will be bringing it to the Convention in January 2013 and would be happy to show it to anyone who is interested. I will be discussing destination weddings in my talk at the Convention
