Creating an epic space composite - part 1 of 1 2 3 4 5 6

Having the ability to shoot and create composite images is a great tool to have in your arsenal. Composite images are something I have created in the past, sometimes for myself and sometimes for customers. It’s something I have always strived to make great, even though it was never something that was the bulk of my work. But, having the ability to create these images has been crucial in attracting more commissions. So, even if you don’t think composites are something you will ever do regularly, I would recommend you at least to learn about them - the skills needed will improve your “regular” photography as well as your photoshopping skills.

Last autumn I was asked by Kerrang Magazine to create one such image.
